QWD and COVID19

To our QWD employees and customers,

As we continue as a nation to feel the increased impact of the Covid-19 virus, we feel it is important to provide our customers with a transparent explanation of our precautions until this is behind us. We are closely following the recommendations of the CDC and other federal agencies and as new precautionary measures are recommended, we will adjust our plans accordingly.

At this point Quality Window and Door Inc. is still considered essential business so we are still able to help our clients. Out of an abundance of caution, here are some things you should know about us and the measures we are taking.

At our home office, we started remote “Work from home” two weeks ago. We limit our office staff to only 1 or 2 people in the building at a time. We have sanitizer spread out throughout the building and have been washing all commonly used surfaces (knobs, handles, tables, chairs etc.) with disinfectant twice daily.

We have instructed our staff to refrain from shaking hands and to keep a safe distance from others before, during and after work.

We have instructed our service technicians to always wear work gloves and masks.

We are doing as much customer relations and discussions through e-mail, Skype, text or phone as we can to try and limit the spread.

As this situation continues to evolve, we are committed to following the governmental guidelines recommended to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all of our employees and visitors to our showrooms.

Great company that backs their product. We built a new house and Quality Window & Doors was the subcontractor for our Weathershield windows and doors. Wayne and Noe came out to service a broken handle on our 16' Weathershield sliding door. We were technically beyond the warranty period but they repaired the handle for free. They also took the time to go around and adjust our other exterior doors to make sure they were well aligned now that the house had settled a bit. Wayne was a real expert and got all the doors adjusted and working perfectly!
