This project was brought to Quality Window & Door, through our long-time partner, Finecraft Contractors. The homeowner wanted to open up the home’s interior and increase natural lighting. The home was designed by plan Z architects, a local interior architectural design firm located in Baltimore, MD. Finecraft Contractors performed the structural work, removing the attic, creating a cathedral style ceiling. Quality Window & Door was tasked with supplying and installing windows in the newly created space.
Installed in the home are more than three dozen windows, manufactured by Weather Shield. These windows are some of the highest quality in the industry, placing an emphasis on functionality, energy efficiency, and aesthetics.
As you can see in the photo above, the project has completely transformed the look of the home. Not only has natural lighting been improved, but remodeling work has given the room a much larger feel and expansive views of the natural areas outside.
