Replacement Window Project in Potomac, MD

About the Project

This project, in Potomac, MD features extensive renovations. For this project, we partnered with Finecraft Contractors to give the home a new look. A second level balcony and carriage style garage doors were added to the give the home a more authentic colonial look, the brick was painted , and the windows were all replaced.

Quality Window & Door supplied and installed the windows, which are primed wooden exterior windows from Weather Shield utilizing an ultra-high performance Zoe-5-glass. These windows feature Weather Shield’s ultra-low emissivity glass, known as Zo-e-Shield, that reflects much of the sun’s heat protects against UVA-UVB rays.

The home features a variety of styles of windows and doors from Weather Shield including double hung windows, casement windows, fixed pane windows, and French patio doors. The dormers on the roof were completed rebuilt and fitted with fixed pane arch top windows and the bay window on the front left of the home was reconstructed to be in unison with the home’s colonial design. The rear of the home features Weather Shield French patio doors, casement windows, and additional double hung windows like those seen on the front.

Overall, the project was a great success and the homeowners were very happy with the work provided by both Quality Window & Door and Finecraft Contractors.
