Installation Types For Replacement Windows

Unlike other manufacturers, Weather Shield Replacement Solutions offers a wide variety of window styles for every type of installation:

Pocket Replacement – This type of installation uses a "frame-within-a-frame" design. A fully framed window unit is installed into the frame of an existing window. Only the sash and the jambliner of the window are removed; the existing frame, window trim, and siding remain intact.

Full Replacement - A more labor-intensive process, this type of installation removes everything – the entire window or door (including the frame), interior trim and exterior trim.

Tilt-sash Replacement – An economical solution, this type of installation replaces just the sash of the window without disturbing the existing frame, window trim, siding, paint or wallpaper. New sashes tilt-in for easy cleaning.
